Another meaningless license and 5 cash and carry warehouses not open to the public. And Jetro and Restaurant Depot are one in the same so it's not a "new" distributor. They really aren't a distributor at all. Like to know how Marani plans on getting buyers to get in their car and go there because they don't ship and they don't make sales calls. They've had Restaurant Depot for a while and basically no sales. That's because no one has ever heard of them and people don't go there to shop per se. They go there for specific items. This whole thing will result in the same thing as all the other states, no sales. It's just a bad model for Marani that hasn't worked in the past and there's no reason it will all of the sudden start working now.

I'd be careful if you're buying into MRIB based on this news and thinking it represents revenues because it's failed in every other state they've tried it. The longs would have you believe otherwise and create the illusion of Marani being available all over NY and you'll be able to walk into locations all over and pick up a bottle but that's just not the case. As I said, none of the current locations are open to the public, they don't ship and they don't give terms which most retailers depend on. Certainly not any retailers of note. The customer at Jetro/Reastaurant Depot is mostly sole proprietors and small single location retailers.
