The real lesson is probably not to trust a stock picking newsletter where the publisher is entirely opaque about his holdings - you got caught out in a total pump and dump.

As to the stock's prospects, in your experience how long should it take to launch a product line and make sales of a disruptive software technology? The OTC is not for the impatient - take a look at the company's moves, i.e., the hiring of a Clipstream CEO, decide if it's moving, albeit slowly, in a direction you like, and come to a conclusion.

The company employs an investor relations firm, listed on the website. Might I suggest you contact them for a comment on current share price movements?
