Imagine imbedding QD in building windows and tuning them to tint in direct sunlight which would prevent solar gain in buildings hence savings on electricity needed for cooling the space....or in the windows of automobiles where the windows tint removing harmful glare to the driver while also reducing solar gain within the car.

Pretty cool stuff and just another avenue for QD to below used
