It is based on time of owner ship. It is how the early investors are rewarded for there patience. Restructuring is a complex procedure but yes investors who got in just before the restructuring process will be diluted by early investors but then many can say and I will be the first that if your good at trading you will out perform the ones who hang on and should you find it in your self to force the hand of those that did hang on you will even take home a greater reward.

I myself don't like to play that game as well as many whom govern these boards don't like to see that being played out. The thing is a trader buying low selling high we try to force the hands of our rivals and then for the ones uneducated will fall into the trap of selling an early hand.

To note always have two different accounts should you hold an early IPO hand cause they are instructed to sell the early hand not the later hand and should one buy back in you can't take that right down should it be in the same account.

I hold three different brokerage accounts one strictly for holding my long holds IPO holds
