Many physicians strive for something better continually challenging themselves as well as their equipment in pursuit of creating a higher standard as well as elevating what we call standard of care in your area.
Doctors as a group myself included can be a self righteous bunch and extremely competitive but also very driven that drive is what pushes medical techniques to evolve .
I can remember the bone guys saying these new arthroscopes are not going to fly how can you critically examine the interior of a knee with such a limited view. Obviously others in that discipline felt like a newer more modern approaches had huge benefits .
Today's orthopedic surgeons could not imagine opening knees for minor repairs beyond an arthroscope .
I am so greatful that INTUIT paved the way for us in many ways . They have stood up rows of dominos. Some of the people I like to refer to as branch inspectors can't understand why I don't respect today's major player in the space . Do you think Blackberry feared Nokia or the I phone feared blackberry ,,,,, no its rediculous looking backwards. But the branch inspectors see a branch others see a tree and in my opinion many ,,,, yes even on this board see a forest.
For the ones that keep saying single port can not compete with multiport I only see one area that will be obvious in a few years they can throw more wet laundry or hang more coats on a Da Vinci .
In the past things start a little slow then a flurry hospitals do not like to appear outdated or behind. Those with the fortitude to stay in this investment for 24 to 36 months will be richly rewarded .
Just my opinion of course
