If a stock is higher in volume than usual, that doesn't always mean it's doing well.

A stocks volume for the day is simply how many shares were traded.
I could sell 2,000,000 shares in a company on Monday and that will affect the volume. And if it is a slow moving company to those who have no access to L2, and/or can't/don't know how to read candle sticks properly` this will look like a good day to them...when in fact the company, for whatever reason,the company is plummeting.
