AlanC, If the shorts are as high as some have predicted, it will be in the tens of millions of dollars that the DTCC will have to fork out up front, and then the MM's, brokers, and/or their short selling clients will be on the hook to make them whole. Cash will be king for longs and not so much for those short.

Four years later, and the ENSSFM appear to have escaped yet one more time.
