You paint a scenario in which you think you've provided all variables, however you've missed at least one important one. The rock, which the boat will pull from the harbor has a magical guality you've gorgotten about. Somehow, once you harvest the rock, another one reappears every 12 weeks. As time progresses, the boat starts making profits because of the 4 harvests each year. Eventually you buy a bigger boat with the profits and you reduce your costs. You also discover other harbors with rocks of gold that you can harvest 4 times a year. Now you have more boats and more gold.
