I think if we learned anything from the real estate/banking bubble and meltdown it's -- unless there's a revolutionary change to our economic model (like the discovery of free energy for example), then not everyone is able to own a home.

Let's just hope those part time jobs become full time living wage jobs so people can provide for themselves without so much government/taxpayer dependence.

Its happening, but its happening very slowly.
