"What does an electrical product or it's weight have ANYTHING to do with why 1000+ 3 pack was discontinued?
I'm sure HD discontinues several products each week for one reason or another from poor sales to product reviews. Please explain the point you are trying to make?"
I reckon just about the same as a John Deere product.....

According to Home Depot the problems isn't all that unusual. Awhile back they had the same problem with John Deere. For some reason the 22HP. John Deere garden tractors showed up as discontinued but John Deere insisted they weren't. Home Depot's IT department was able to fix the problem by discontinuing the 22HP. tractor and replacing it with a 3 1/2HP walk behind. They said that was easier than changing the UPC info. I guess that makes sense now.
