The "hype" for the technology has just begun, IMO. I work in the Aerospace Industry and only a VERY small portion of the industry knows about PrintRite3D. We are talking VERY small. Once they start advertising in Engineering Magazines, and at Tradeshows. Everyone better watch out. Word will spread very quickly, and the money will come in...

Everyone in the aerospace industry is aware of additive manufacturing, and we see the industry changing technology for what it is. But no one is using it yet, besides the big dogs....Why?

There WAS no quality assurance option.
That's how I found out about Sigma Labs. The President of the company I work for at the time asked me to look into AM and if it was the right path for us last year. I looked into it, and my answer was, no, not right now. Because of the lack of quality assurance and "proof" of quality in order to justify the investment in machinery and AM infrastructure. It is the first concern of any aerospace company, quality.

During my search, I came across and article by Gary Anderson about Sigma Labs PrintRite3D, and thought to myself, this will be the product that will open the AM door to everyone else in the industry, not just the "big guns" GE, P&W, Honeywell....

I know there is a need for this product. I have since moved to a new employer, however, I am in talks with them about the potential here and with AM, and am trying to allocate some of the budget to R&D AM in house in 2015.

There are many companies out there in need of this product. If it does what they say, it will change the way we look at manufacturing in the future.
