Had a daydream at the gym this morning of the potentials of qd solar panels. Tune the panels only for Infra red, hire private military to secure western Sahara (assuming diplomatic negotiations fail), build massive solar farm to split sea water into brown's gas, run the gas through internal combustion Generators, water the desert with the condensed exhaust, plant trees to hold the water. Storing the seawater on land while producing food and reducing the amount of radiant energy that heats the earth. I imagine the Australians will be the first to do something like this. Just need coastal wasteland, oh wait, we could just use california!
