FEATURED PICKS / TRADE ALERTS / GENERAL STOCK TIPS
First off, please forgive me for not yet overhauling the I-BOX. I have the whole thing mapped out in my head, but have not yet accomplished it. Some of the things that will be included in the I-BOX are the following:
1) Our guiding principals as it relates to trading in the penny markets.
2) The acute difference between getting in on the ground floor of a trade, and front loading. (we will never front load, nor will we alert a stock that has been front loaded, trust me, we know).
3) Explanations of our picks and why we like them.
4) Myths that are continually perpetrated on various boards, for example the MM signal of 100 shares, 911 trades and all other commonly referred to transactions that just are not so.
5) the reverse engineering of our FEATURED PICKS and TRADE ALERTS. (charts whereupon we will attempt to show people, for the betterment of all, what went right, what went wrong and so forth, again so that all can gain at least a fundamental understanding of basic technical analysis).
HERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF THE THREE TYPES OF ALERTS WE WILL ISSUE ON THE BOARD:
FEATURED PICKS: A FEATURED PICK is a stock that has been vetted by all of the moderators on the board, to include chart analysis, extensive due diligence, knowledge of the posters on the respective board and what might be happening behind the scenes. Our FEATURED PICKS ideally, will be in play for a minimum of 4 trading sessions, to a maximum of 9 trading sessions. FEATURED PICKS, can be bought with confidence because we apply the highest degree of scrutiny to them, and as such, we cannot promise you that we will have one every week, again, ideally a FEATURED PICK should be something you can buy, but enjoy life, and watch your money/investment work for you, rather than sitting in front of a monitor watching every tick. To preclude front loading, the only individuals who are cognizant of the ticker we are considering, is our mods. Again this is done for two purposes, the mods we have here are seasoned traders, and participate in the vetting process, to ensure that we are not leading our followers astray. Additionally we want to preclude anyone from front loading the pick. A FEATURED PICK CAN ONLY BE ISSUED BY MYSELF, NO ONE ELSE, NOT EVEN A MODERATOR. When contemplating the issuance of a ticker as a FEATURED PICK, myself and the mods review it, but to avoid any undue confusion, SPORTYNORTY will be the only one issuing a FEATURED PICK.
TRADE ALERTS: A TRADE ALERT is issued when we see an opportunity to buy an equity predicated on a multitude of possible factors, such as; severely oversold, chart indications of a big move, catalysts that we become aware of that will positively effect the price per share, and so forth. TRADE ALERTS can be and should be traded with a higher viscosity, as sometimes these things will only move for a couple of days. A TRADE ALERT is just that, a TRADE ALERT, not meant to be held for extended periods of time. Ideally a TRADE ALERT should run in a cycle of anywhere between 2-5 days, not more. Myself or any moderator on the board can issue a TRADE ALERT. Again, we try to vet the candidate to the best of our ability and we as a board stand behind the alert, we feel there is a high probability that the ticker will rise, but for a myriad of reasons, it does not rise to the level of being labeled a FEATURED PICK.
GENERAL STOCK TIP ALERTS: These are stocks that you are loyal followers, posters and moderators see as an immediate opportunity. GENERAL STOCK TIP ALERTS can be issued by anyone on the board, we only ask that some form of articulation behind a recommendation is stated in the message. We cannot take responsibility for the trading/alerting of GENERAL STOCK TIP ALERTS, as again, this is still a trading board, and we do not expect everyone to just sit on their hands waiting for us to come out with a FEATURED PICK or TRADE ALERT.
FEATURED PICKS will have a 24 hour alert warning, so that our followers can know the exact time we will be issuing the alert.
*** One other issue that has already come up. It has come to our attention that some people are utilizing Twitter or I-HUB in an attempt to jump the FEATURED PICK alert by posting rumors and innuendos of tickers that they are trying to push on other people. Let me assure you that, we take our FEATURED PICKS extremely seriously and we will not leak it to anyone, under any circumstance, so if you happen to see someone touting that they know what the pick is, rest assured, they do not***
