I have yet to publicly take sides against one poster , but I will now take a side that BMI has an agenda with ulterior motives .

Kermit , you articulate the reasons logically , thus I have used your post for my reply . As compensation ( LOL ) I gave you a well-earned membermark .

I wish to throw out another scenario as to motives of ANY person who uses a skilful command of language and selective useage of facts to sway many . *** This is a generalization and not directed necessarily about / to BMI or any one person .

To demonstrate my point(s) a reader would have to have observed many message boards to compare the tactics and incredible accuracy of the skilled antagonists / protagonists .

There are commonalities between the ultra-elite group of persons who write with apparent and evident authority on a stock they have targetted , and the most predominent commonality is their uncanny accuracy in PPS directions . Such accuracy increases their authority , FALSE trust-worthiness , and benevolence , which obtains supporters from the stockholder camp , and which augments their influence even more . They become gurus . Regular message board participants defend them .

So , how do they do it ?

It is my studied opinion from my observations of many message boards that the elite group of prevaricators / gurus / Pied Pipers that reside on active message boards ( on active stocks ONLY !!! ) are employed by the Market Makers who desire a resident authority to explain WHY a PPS is rising or falling , to deflect ALL attention AWAY FROM the MM's who have arbitrarily decided the direction that they are taking a particular stock . In other words , the message board GURU already knows exactly where the PPS is going , BEFOREHAND .

The Market Makers manipulate stocks ( that should be a given )
and they cannot risk a group of smart investors rallying together to complain to the SEC / Legal Counsel / Congress about their blatant manipulations . By having highly skilled gurus on a message board enough doubt is instilled to blame an assortment of causes for the rise or walk-down or precipitous drop on a stock they are manipulating . Favorite causes are CEO's , flippers , dilution , lack of profound news , fluff news , etc .....and rarely the Market Makers . Periodically the appointed GURU will defend the MM's as just reacting to all the other causes .....creating a market as public investors dictate . This is a RUSE , as public investors are pawns to the ABSOLUTE CONTROL of the MM's ....IMO .

Can I prove any of these allegations ? Of course not , because the conspiracy of the Market Makers to manipulate ANY stock they choose is their gravy train and they are the masters , or as I have often stated .....GODS who answer to no-one .

Indeed ....I am a conspiracist who believes the markets are corrupt , and the SEC / Congress do NOTHING .
