If you spend any time reading any number of boards on I hub there are plenty of full time traders that tell people to NEVER go all in on a penny stock. On any given day you could have a half dozen stocks that are popping and if you have all or most of your money locked up in one it's understandable being pissed off. But you can't be pissed off at this stock. The stock didn't force you to tie up your money.
It's great to have 10 million or 20 million shares of this, but if owning that amount takes you out of the market there is only one direction to look as far as being pissed, and it isn't in the direction of this stock.
I guess it comes with experience, and seeing how many pennies move each day. Every day there is news out on very liquid penny stocks that creates a move up.
Some stocks are position stocks. For instance SFTV. I have had a constant position in that stock for close to two years. A month, maybe two, maybe three months go by with very little movement and then all of a sudden BAM!!!! It pops. It just had a real nice pop in the last couple weeks.
Right now this is a position stock. If you believe in this stock you should have your ducks in a row. But for cryin' out loud, don't throw all your money in it.
In my opinion you should ALWAYS maintain a cash position. Then you are ready to move when a runner takes off.
I know I'm not telling a lot of people anything they don't already know but every day you see posts by some people that are really mad because they are in stock ABCD while stock EFGH just popped 200%.
I'm not an investment advisor but I've been trading these for a long time. What I have said here isn't just a theory, it's how you have to play these. If the people that are pissed off because they are in a stock that isn't moving to their liking, try maintaining a cash position so you can catch those runners. You won't give a shit what this stock does if you do this and when this one runs you'll be whistling Dixie because you were already in before the run.
Try it, you might like it!!!!!
Just my opinion of course.
"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. "Sort of". It's just a filler. "Sort of" - It doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
