On May 21, 2012, Tangiers Investors, L.P. filed a complaint against Flint and Vincent Browne in the Superior Court of the State of California for the County of Los Angeles alleging three counts of breach of contract, fraud and deceit, and securities fraud, and seeking damages in the amount of $188,705, plus 9.9% interest against the $57,500 in outstanding principal amounts owed, plus $1,000 per day liquidated damages, plus punitive damages in an amount appropriate to punish the defendant.
