If there is a move out of drugs-biotech, which I am not sure of, it could be related to two main stories on thestreet.com. The headline until before was about the federal study on schizophrenia drugs and how investors were disappointed because the study lacked guidance about which drug was best. The more effective also had the more serious side effects. And now, that lead story has been replaced by another negative drug story (paraphrasing): merck's vioxx bill just got bigger. Perhaps investors could be "frustrated" at the moment with the difficulties involved with making a profit in the drug field.

If true, whether it is of short or long duration, I continue to believe that any such influence will be overwhelmed by developments happening specific to this company.

As for views about management, everybody has their own take and is free to build a summary of the facts the way they choose. While this might only be true for some and not all, I have the suspicion that there are conflict of interest issues involved in the case of some anti-management posters which they choose not to reveal for obvious reasons. Among some, a persistent level of strong animus does not happen by itself. Despite convoluted arguments to the contrary, if I had serious questions about the competence of the people managing this company, I would run away from this stock as fast as I could.
