For those who have been watching how GBHD was trading last week, it may have been a mystery as to why the share price jumped over 60% in one day. Well, it may have something to do with the fact that a long term pending lawsuit against the company, which spawned a counter suit and an appeal, has been DISMISSED!
This comes as, not just good news, but GREAT NEWS! The final court order details the dismissal of all the associated cases that spawned from the original complaint and also states that, even though neither party admits liability to the other, the case is dismissed with prejudice and each party is to cover his own expenses.
Why is that GREAT news? Well, there are multiple reasons.
1. The liabilities that are listed on the company's financials are GONE and the company is officially DEBT FREE...again!
2. Since the case has been dismissed with prejudice, this case is closed FOREVER and CANNOT be retried.
3. And, this also means that whatever hindrance this case has caused to the forward progress of the company has been REMOVED!
