Took the "tour" today, which essentially consisted of me swinging by the office. In the midst of everybody working, Jim casually showed me around the offices and showed me some of the products/content. Was a pleasure to meet Dave, Jim, Al, Arthur etc and I really appreciated their welcoming and personable demeanor. With my lack of tech or stock market experience, the casual nature of my visit, (along with the bowl I smoked on the way in the car) I found myself with a sudden sense of nervousness/intimidation as I realized I was standing here chatting in the office of a legend (or three?) of whom I know almost nothing about; nor have any qualifications to ask educated questions. And now Al is taking a to ask me about myself. At that point it was of less importance to me to know the details of my many questions than to meet the people in person, see for myself that everything existed and see the content of their eyes. The unexpected invite from Dave to follow him over to the data center for a quick explanation and show around was very appreciated. The personable and welcoming atmosphere leads me to looking forward to visiting the 4k studio in S.F. and I will probably be heading to Vegas for CES this winter. Overall, really glad I went and visited; and pleased with my first visit.
(Sorry guys if you find yourselves now flooded with tour requests. Blame will be placed on IntelligentPMC; his tour inspired me to ask for one.) (Also, thank you to the guy for the tutorial of how to blast opponents into the crowd in Ring King!)
