It's 1/5 a penny. How low does it have to go for people to buy? It was 2,000% higher two years ago. I wonder where it would be now if grushkin hadn't exposed the company, it would be less then a penny but I don't know if it would be this low. They haven't made product in over a year IMO. Just lies, lies and more lies.

Each day, Walmart sells 1 million items. To do so it lowers thousands of prices every week to maintain its current customers and attract new ones. In fact, it guarantees its prices will be the lowest of all its competitors. While pricing is an important consideration for a purchase, in the case of a new dog food coming to market and in light of recent recalls of so many dog food brands—Purina and Del Monte among them, dog owners need the assurance of product quality along with an incentive to purchase to entertain a new product.

To promote the introduction of a new dog product category and more specifically the first product in the category, Walmart has committed to a three-prong marketing program to promote sampling, purchase and branding of NutraBar with All American Pet.

The NutraBar marketing campaign will run from September through November and include a price Rollback from $1.22 to $.88 in addition to an in-store sampling program with an additional in-store $.25 coupon. To assure proper product visibility, a team of store detailers will monitor the shelves to maintain NutraBar display and proper stocking.

No manufacturer could hope for a better retail partnership than we share with Walmart. With the world’s largest retailer beside us we will see a broad expansion of the NutraBar brand to thousands of additional stores in the new year along with the introduction of the new CHEWIES brand of all natural, high protein treats manufactured in America.
