First you say it's "flawless" at 11mbps, then you say that anyone without 20mbps is too stupid to own a 4K set.

These ideas are at odds.

But it still underscores my original point from months ago, which is that NTEK's claims to serve up visually lossless 4K at 6mbps were nothing but total garbage.

I wonder if the demos were all faked. Even the stupid butterfly.

The bitrate lie is what allowed them to pretend that NP-1 would be a successful consumer product. Since it can't do that at all, the product is a total dog.

Anyone could have built the NP-1 cheaper and better, if it made sense to do so. It doesn't, which is why they didn't.

But it worked to get them the working capital (from stock sales) to create their dream porn channel. They're hoping that nobody asks too many questions about where the money came from, and how much the Foleys skimmed off the top while financing this sleazy enterprise. Half? 90%?
