So Rich was right, it wasn't my last post. This just to explain why I went over the edge.

"World Moto CTO Chris Ziomkowski first got the idea for Wheelies while watching a Star Wars film several years ago. The image of a spinning lightsaber set him thinking about the phenomenon called “persistence of vision,” whereby static patterns can combine to create the illusion of motion (it’s the phenomenon behind the magic of movies). He began to wonder whether persistence of vision could be exploited to great effect with spinning wheels."

There is a very strong implication from WM that it invented the concept. The much more likely story is that Chris got the idea from "Fantasia Owl." Even if the light saber inspiration is true, he clearly didn't have to wonder if persistence of vision could be exploited on spinning wheels. All he had to do was check Fantasia Owl products, which he surely knew about. Much of the phrasing WM uses in its promotion of Wheelies mirrors that on the Owl site.

I still hold to my earlier posts that Wheelies are superior (and much more expensive) and that competition could actually be beneficial. I don't immediately plan to sell any more of my shares (I bought 200,000 when it fell below a nickel.) The company may fulfill all the potential it presents.

The only thing that set me off was what strikes me as an obvious misrepresentation. One that was completely unnecessary.
