Wow, nice presentation by Dr. Lippa today. He said they're going to start two Phase 2a RD trials next year with CX-1739, one using Propofol and the other using an opioid. The timeline he gave was for the opioid RD study to start in Q1-2015 and finish Q3-2015, and the Propofol study to start in Q2-2015 and finish Q4-2015. Yowsa!!

Also, the injectable Ampakine CX-1942 will start its final preclinical trial in Q3-2014 and finish Q2-2015.

Dronabinol - He said topline data from the Phase 2b will be in early Q4-2014.


So not only is Cortex still alive, it's moving into high gear - overdrive mode. I'm not sure how they'll be paying for the RD trials, and the timeline estimates look overly optimistic, BUT - looks like it's 'pedal to the metal' time. Looks like Davidal's share price estimates may not be so unrealistic after all. Time will tell, but Cortex appears to be back and then some.

I'd be interested in getting Neuro's take on the recent developments :o)
