You are right, TC would not commit money and resources to the AOT concept and then give up shortly after installation, that is not plausible. I think a lot of engineers would be laid off.
I read somewhere that 20 or more TC engineers and STWA worked on this custom AOT unit before it was installed on the pipeline. If it was not working, you would think that the TC engineers would be back making changes so as to justify their effort and not waste the money spent customizing the AOT.
They are obviously satisfied with the installation, they have made no changes to the four AOT skid and have been collecting data for three months.
