TANKING AFTER ANNOUNCEMENTS OF WHAT'S TO COME IS NORMAL! Prior to about a week before the release announcing the confirmation of what was released earlier, the price continues to drop. A few days before the next announcement, expect a dramatic rise before the news hits.
At the time of the release, a tremendous amount of profit taking will take place, dropping the price again until the next announcement, and the cycle repeats itself until we are solidly established whereas MMs have little ability to manipulate the stock any further.
Normally one would expect a dramatic increase on positive news releases, but the speculation before it's release if it's known that it's something very positive, is a period of time whereas investors who know the heart beat of the stock will keep a careful eye as the price drops, and then invest heavily.
The news is released, and although positive, it's profit taking time again. It use to be the reverse.
Stocks spiked on good news. Now it's before the news, and selling after. The price drops again, and they buy up cheaper shares for the next wave. What a game, and the net was the biggest game changer of all time.
