How I see it Anand said the company isn't paying for new cable to be laid out, rather have the school districts and government cover costs, then they are able to offer new services to that community. The question comes up why would ALSK get these contracts without low ball pricing? Or will they continue to win out gov contracts? My answer is Yes!, I figure it has to do with CE 2.0 supporting e-access which allows for virtual private networks (VPN) between government and schools. E-Access also offers direct connection to data centers or even cloud services using (VPN). E access offers maximum data with the lowest cost for government, schools and business.
Multi CoS is like optimization or synchronization of data traffic, optimized mobile back haul for LTE/4G, consistent performance no matter distance away from ALSK Server location..
Last thing that comes to mind is when Bell Atlantic bought out General Telephone to become Verizon there was one states phone company that was left out of the deal and that was Alaska. With state of the Art Broadband, also being a profitable company, and with Verizon after all these years now moving in, is a buy out possible?
