I am actually shocked that they got to 14nm as soon as they did, even if it just now appearing.

(The technical challenges just boggle my mind. I'm very glad I left the technical trenches so many years ago and now am just an investor in various companies. Running depletion layers up and over hill and dale...bizarre.)

I was talking to a BItcoin entrepreneur last week. He mentioned that one of his companies has signed a deal to use Intel as a foundry for a new ASIC mining chip. I said something about 22 nm, but he corrected me with a "No, it's the new 14 nm process."

I think we might see INTC back to $50 by later this year. About time.
