Received this from the NV MME Listserv about a meeting to discuss the states total square footage needs for MMJ cultivation.

It appears that the state is saying they need 650,00-1,000,000 sqft to meet all needs for MMJ in NV, including out of state participants. As of now, the total "applied for" square footage exceeds the need by 2-3 times.

Looks like it's time to cull the herd....I view this as an added bonus for $TRTC!!

1. Opening Remarks
2. Public Comment. Discussion of Section 131 of Nevada Administrative Code 453A (LCB File
No. R004-14A) regarding limiting the cultivation of medical marijuana and the square footage
needed in Nevada. The Division’s calculations indicate that 650,000 to 1 Million square
footage of medical marijuana cultivation would be needed to support the medical marijuana
needs for the state of Nevada, including usage by nonresidents. This estimate also takes into
account the inhalable, ingestible and topical usage of cannabis. The square footage identified
in the cultivation establishment applications received by the Division exceeds the projected
square footage needed by 2 – 3 times.
