Alterra Power Corp. (AXY), a Vancouver-based renewable-energy developer, received a C$110 million ($101 million) loan from AMP Ltd. to help build wind and hydroelectric projects in North America.

This lonely wallflower could do without the massively popular and environmentally degrading wind power because of its unpredictable intermittency but there are few stocks on this planet that are more clearly a sure winner than Alterra Power IMHO.
