I don't want to be a damper on discussions and hopes (I do believe this is going to take off eventually). Everyone is believing that once the R/S happens, then we will have a number of new investors, and I believe that we will have a new pool of investors. I just believe that while the price will be in a range that allows various organizations to invest, a number of organizations also have a requirement that there is a minimum number of shares being traded on a daily basis to provide liquidity. If you look at the last couple of months daily volume, the vast majority is under a million shares, today there were 460,675 shares traded. Under a 1:40 R/S scenario, the current average trading volume is adjusted to <25,000 shares/day and only 11,500+ shares traded today.

I believe that after the R/S, there will be investment houses that take a long-term position in APDN. I'm just a little fearful of what happens after the new money comes in. If there aren't enough shares moving on a daily basis, we could be right back to where we are with a few manipulators controlling the price. All the more importance for presentations to the various investment conferences.

What we really need to be looking for is for a lot more companies being required to mark or electing to mark their product. This brings new investors in the employees of such companies. This will take time. The new Govt development project is a great catalyst, but I believe that we need the diversification that marking plastics associated with packaging will bring, especially the pharma industry.
