As some of you know I am a Canadian and I trade mostly Canadian stocks listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. I have decided to revitalize an old thread that I moderated "Ahh Canada - 2 out of 3 ain't bad".

In my trading, I am finding the StockCharts Technical Rank a valuable tool. I am using the SCTR to filter a pool of viable stocks to analyze. In their intro to the SCTR, StockCharts has written, "the methodology for these rankings comes from the wisdom of John Murphy". I was impressed with John Murphy long before he joined StockCharts, and really happy when he became a member of their team. His book "Technical Analysis of Financial Markets" is a great intro to TA.

I would welcome anyone who wants to come over and contribute to the Ahh Canada thread.
