I never mentioned socialism; however, it is ironic that these socialist countries place a higher value on personal freedom than we do in the land of the free not to be. We jail a larger percentage of our population than any other country. Obviously, this system doesn't speak well for freedom; and, it doesn't work. This system does nothing to prevent drug abuse; since, no one is caught before they have the drugs. We also don't catch the real dealers; however, our prisons are filled with small time people who pooled their money to get a volume discount or sold a little to a "friend" to defray the costs of their purchase and are now doing mandatory minimum senetences which regularly exceed those imposed for rape and even murder. Or worse yet, the poor slob who wants to grow his own and avoid the costs and risks of the black market and ends up with the same penalties as a heroin dealer or smuggler.
You presented unsubstatiated claims and common bad science based upon your own unfounded beliefs to counter the factual results of large scale social experiments which have been deemed a success by all of the countries which have undertaken them.
