that argument sounds like the difference of being defrauded out of thousands of dollars vs tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.......but over a certain non-trivial amount, fraud is fraud......

Pancoe isn't the one who did the wrong, no matter how it gets spun.......unbelievable......somehow the deceived victim is in the wrong, because they didn't lose enough!!!
