Simplivir is not the only candidate Cytogenix has.
Yes Simplivir is Cytogenix candidate. I will venture
a not so far fetched guess that Aldevron and GE Healthcare are working in collaboration with CYGX on possible drug candidate(s) as well.
Simplivir may be going forward but my guess is that this is not THE priority at the moment. My guess again is that there
is something going on for either Aldevron or GE Healthcare or both that will involve Cytogenix in more than the synDNA aspect of their technology.
My speculation only.

My speculation also that we are not years away either.
