Laporte in 2014 stated that he did not tell you the bonds were fake.

You have been claiming since 2010 that Laporte told you they were fake. Here is your email:

My cup really runneth over today. Gerry LaPorte, the forensics guy Sid hired, called me back. He's entirely legit--he's written a number of papers on forensic issues, and once worked for the Secret Service--and very pleasant.

He doesn't think the "bonds" are real, of course, but it bothers him that he doesn't know the whole story. ING has consistently refused to let him see an image of the originals. He also thinks it's odd that there's no record of any criminal investigation; after all, ING has known about some of the forged FF Series bonds for years now. In this country, the first thing a company that knew its paper had been counterfeited would do would be to call the FBI or the Secret Service. Perhaps ING did do that, but asked for secrecy.

He told me that if the bonds had just been counterfeited by some unrelated party, it's not a problem for ING. But if a related party--an employee, or someone at the printer's--was involved, then ING could have some liability. He thought the stock the fakes were printed on was good quality, and the background design well-executed. That's why he wanted a look at an original. If the counterfeiters got their hands on ING's stock, then ING could be facing some difficulties.

And so now we know what Sid's going after. And Oliver Schmid as well. He wants ING to pay him something...

I'll try once again to get ING to send me an image of the real bonds, though I doubt very much that they'll oblige.

AGAIN LAPORTE IN 2014 STATED HE NEVER TOLD YOU THE BONDS WERE FAKE! SO FOR FOUR YEARS YOU WERE NOT TELLING THE TRUTH.
