They are claiming on their website, "Our technology produces 100% spider silk with silkworms. EntoGenetics’ technology precisely removes the silk gene from a silkworm and replaces it with our spider silk gene. The inserted spider silk gene is then used by the silkworm to make its cocoon as it normally would. We are incorporating many of the different spider silks into our next lines of silkworms." ( Quoted from: http://www.entogenetics.com/technology/) For them to say they have achieved 100% spider silk with silkworms that is one heck of a claim to be making. And just WHAT is their alleged technology? No peer review?
