Breakout boards show the top boards for change in the number of posts over the last 24 hours. This is near the top because everyone is posting on a weekend when it's usually quiet on here. They don't indicate anything else.

E.g. if there was 1 post last Sunday and 4 today, that's a 400% increase.

I.e. it's very easy to get high on the breakout boards by posting, it doesn't even need to be lots of people
