Joe says "shorty has thrown in the towel". If there are no shorts how can they throw anything? If they were throwing in the towel, the price would be rising as they would be buying. No? The latest activities have been sells at lower and lower prices.

So, no shorts and the only towels being thrown are by longs finally getting out at the best price possible -the bid price.
