The company has said that they are in "partnership talks" not "acquisition talks". They have even given guidance that what they want are regional partnerships...and not one world-wide partnership.

Can things change? Certainly. Could one company make such an attractive world-wide partnership offer that PPHM would take it?

And could a partnership lead eventually to an acquisition?

Personally I still expect regional partnerships...and the first could come any time now IMO. September-October would not surprise me.
