On March 27, BioNitrogen Holdings Corporation announced it signed a term sheet for a $9 million investment that is supported by the Florida New Markets Capital Investment (NMTC) program. The cleantech company, which builds environmentally friendly plants to convert biomass into urea fertilizer, will use the NMTC investment for capital equipment, engineering, closing costs and improvements to Hendry BN Construction & Fertilizer Services LLC, a new subsidiary of BioNitrogen Holdings Corporation. The allocation will be a cash investment of almost $1.5 million for the company. Hendry BN Construction & Fertilizer Services LLC will be located on nearly 15 acres and will provide mulch, feedstock, construction and fertilizer service.

The investment is projected to close in April
