I think you are mistaken assuming they are going to increase to 4ooo at this time. That was represented only as the top capacity spoken of only as a future event if necessary. He meant that capacity exist for an increase in production if backlog and production needs develop.

They are using 30% of their production capacity at this time which meets the backlog production demands. They are working a 6 day week without doing double shifts.

Both the manufacturing plants are huge plants with each work station having an empty duplicate station right next to it, and the manufacturing line is doubled all the way down to completion.
Room to grow as needed is what he meant, not an immediate move.

As the new orders reach the manufacturing floor the other 70% of the capacity is already there.

They are managing the growth in a healthy manner rather than pumping out the product to get 1 great quarter and risk the numbers of the following quarter falling short. That's the "lumpy" they talk about. Not good for the company or the investors in the long run, imo.

Jamison spoke to that situation in the CC. The transcripts should be ready tomorrow to read carefully.
