Dr Seymour thank you for the responses I read on the IHUB board.
Today’s response gives me mixed feeling, so many more will die before a treatment can start to alleviate so much death and suffering.
The other feeling is that this is good for NNVC.
I feel like I am on a mountain looking down at a forest. All I can see is the canopy. Fortunately, I see the landscape clearly So many questions about what is happening below. Here are a few of my questions. Many have been asked on the board, but probably not directly to you. In no particular order,
1. 5,000g (5kg) water is 5 liters of water. Question is way too detailed for me to answer and the info is proprietary
a. Is this the same for a cide? If not what is the size?
b. Is this the size of 1 batch? If not what is the size of a batch?
c. How long does it take from the first time material is put into a FLASK (tank, container?) until the finished product can be put into the final container?
d. How long between one batch until we can start another batch.
e. How many therapeutic doses will each batch produce?
2. Since there is so much emphasis on getting EBOLA going is BASI holding a spot open to begin the testing as soon as the product arrives? Yes
a. How long will it take for their testing? 6 months
b. What are they testing for? Many things…..look up toxicology testing on wikipedia for those details
3. How is this EBOLA work affecting the FLUCIDE work? Not at all
4. When will the 3 lab have met the standards required for full production? Moving in this week If one batch fails is the whole process repeated? No OR?
5. Is there a significant difference in processing Flucide vs. Ebolacide, other than the ligands? No
a. Does NNVC make the ligands? No! They’re outsourced to a chemical company How long does it take make a batch of ligands? Depends on the complexity
