There are two things going on here.
One - MONIF announced it's outsourcing 20% of it's staff, IT, to IBM. This is not a buyout or any change to the listings.
But it makes it harder for the Amazons of the world to take them over. It doesn't prevent the FB, TWTR, YHOO's of the world from buying them out.

Two, IBM is trying to sell it's Travel and Expense tools to other corporations via Apple Apps. Which is public information and may or may not have any relationship to MONIF.

Every Corporation has to deal with employee travel, booking flights, hotels, cars, and changes to all of them on the fly when plans or bad weather pop up. In the olden days, you called your company's Admin, then it became American Express to talk to a person. Then it became all online. Now it becomes mobile.

Then filling out all the expense forms correctly to get reimbursed, and make payments to all of them. Iphone can take pictures of receipts aka scan them into the App, that is normally mailed in.
