Releasing any PR in the month of August, let alone the final week falls of deaf ears....Wall Street has for the most part, stepped away from their screens; to be back in session Sept 2nd. Companies know this and hence the PR vacuum we've been experiencing. I think it's safe to say there is a log jam of sector PRs . Once "back in session", I bet we get a tsunami of PRs which IMO, have a big effect. On top of that, politically (in bold) on ALL ballots, is the issue of compassion and medical advancement. Along with that are the social implications and economics of MJ/MMJ . I would say the rhetoric will be strong in favor of MMJ to say the least and politicians will address and not want to avoid the issue. This year, for the first time, I think everyone knows the right answer and which lever to pull. Eventually the issues of banks and taxation need to be defined...can you imagine when that is punctuated, finally legitimizing MJ/MMJ.
I truly think the MJ momentum is unstoppable ...The only hurdle that has blocked its advancement IMO is that MJ is up against a pretty formidable group: big alcohol, big pharma and big tobacco, not to mention big paper, big cotton etc....and whom have been lining the politicians pockets for years...each side has been comfortably scratching each other's back forever. I will say however, those industries have been planning their entry for years now.....so it's not a matter of if, but when they enter...and I think soon. In this process, many of the smaller companies will simple not make it; there will also be many mergers & acquisitions as well. Additionally, there will be a lot of interesting branding and that is where I always believed with RC, thet GRCU would benefit greatly. He is a cannabis icon, a marijuana forefather!
Anyway, IMO this run could very possibly be even more fierce than this past January's and it'll start for the most part (sector-wide) starting Sept 2nd; only to gain steam into the November elections.
These are JMHO's...please do your own DD and GLTA!
