The listing requirements for the AMEX came under criticism by the SEC. That is what started the dilema. NMKT and a number of other companies had already applied for listing under the rules that then applied and paid the required hefty fees. Because of the SEC pressure th AMEX ugraded their listing requirements and just as one example share price became $4 in lieu of the old standard of $2. You can read all the details on the Amex web site under listing requirements. Now those ap0plicant companies who paid their fees either should be grandfathered under the old standard or their filing fees returned. Many thinkk Verges is fighting this battle but he is just watching as the AMEX and SEC thrash it out between themselves.
