About your Air Filter(s)
Why do I need to change my air filter?

Changing your filter on a regular basis will reduce your heating and cooling bills, lessen the chance of an expensive and inconvenient breakdown, and extend the life of your heating and cooling equipment. Not to mention clean air for your family to breathe!
Where can I find my air filter?

Your filter will be near your furnace, usually on top, bottom or side. When you replace it, point the arrow for airflow towards your furnace.
Where are the dimensions of my filter?

The dimensions of your filter should be printed on the side of the filter itself. If not, find a tape measure and measure the WIDTH and LENGTH.
THAT is your filter size.
What if I need two filters?

Some heating and cooling equipment requires multiple filters. The filters should all be changed at the same time, and yes we can send as many as you want.

Will I save money using an efficient pleated filter?

Yes, by keeping your system clean internally, you will reduce your heating and cooling costs! This puts extra $$$ in your pocket and helps the environment! Depending on the size of your home you might come out ahead after you join the club!
Will I have cleaner air in my home if I use a more efficient filter?

Yes! Pleated filters improve indoor air quality.
Why is MERV 8 the best choice?

MERV 8 is a good high efficient filter.
How long will my filter last?

AC and furnace manufactures recommend that 1” filters be changed monthly and 4” filters be changed every 6 months. If you have pets or heavy traffic adjust the frequency to meet your individual situation. Likewise lower traffic households may change a 1” filter every other month.

What if I can’t find my filter size?

The size should be on the side of your current filter. If you have the old filter and still can’t find the size call someone smarter to help out. (see tape measure tip above).
What is a MERV rating?

MERV stands for ‘Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value’. In normal English it is the size of the holes in the filter that let air through. MERV is the standard set by ASHRAE (big deal Heating and Cooling society, they have libraries that smell of rich mahogany and leather bound books). Hardware stores like Home Depot use ‘FPR’ and other internally made up ratings to classify their filters efficiency.
Why should I use a high efficiency pleated filter instead of the bargain brand cheap fiberglass option?

If using the cheap fiberglass spun option you must like buying new heating and cooling systems frequently.
How we do it?
How much does MonthlyFilterClub Cost?

Most all 1” filters from Monthlyfilterclub.com are $13.95 to your door, free shipping! Compare that to $16.97 at Home Depot, and $16.88 at Wal-Mart. You don’t have to fight for parking at our store either.
How and when will I be billed for my MonthlyFilterClub service?

We will bill your debit or credit card when you sign up and then on the renewal date of your Club membership whether it is every month, every other month etc. We’ll send you an email with tracking info to let you know your filter is on the way and that you were billed.
