Interesting to note the fact that the study mentioned in this article was done using Quest cigarettes, which were made by none other than, 22nd Century Group. FDA approval for 22nd's modified-risk label on cigarette packs is expected and would be unprecedented in the tobacco industry, and would put them in a monopolistic position regarding a "safer" cigarette now that the government has banned the usage of the word "light" in packaging. "Only show in town" are music to shareholders' ears. Monopoly is not a word that can often be used to describe a company, and that is why XXII holds such a large percentage of my portfolio.
