And that's why Solar3D is so well positioned for success right now. Panasonic has had the 3D Cell patent since 2003, and haven't done jack sh*t with it. Otherwise, Panasonic would have figured out how to turn the 3D Cell into an amazing 3D Cell Solar Panel with 25%+ efficiency and twice the total power output of conventional panels............oh, that's right, Solar3D did that.
Since Panasonic has the 3D Cell patent, why aren't they the number one producer of solar panels in the world right now? Why aren't they dwarfing First Solar with their amazing 3D Cell invention?
Because, quite simply, they couldn't figure out what our boys at Solar3D have figured out. And the fact that a giant, mammoth, well-respected company like Panasonic would essentially partner with a tiny developmental company like Solar3D and aid them in fabricating their prototype in 2012, and put their name on the line like that says SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUCH.
