They still control huge swaths of territory and MANY natural resources. they arent going anywhere anytime soon. I said it last month and I said it before that. Their ranks have increased, not decreased.

You are honestly going to try and just DISMISS hours of back and forth dialogue and try and make that one post I just sent out some sort of allin discredited remark. Thats a reactionary act of desperation IMO. Youve been WRONG, ridiculously WRONG, for what, a YEAR now? Ive watched Iraq crumble while youve said "any day now we gurus are geniuses".

You seem to still maintain the footing of ISIS/ISIL defeat being imminent within days as well as the revaluation. You cant even bring yourself to put back into neutral with a "wait and see and revise" approach...in otherwords, an evolving viewpoint, not the same damn line youve taken the whole time.

I didnt even post to you directly. I figured maybe youve humbled your tone since then. Guess not.

Anyhow, recent positives include Maliki finally "stepping down", US getting involved withairstrikes, increased flow of weaponry to Peshmerga and Iraqi government. The Iraqi gov has also been significantly cooperating with the Kurds which may possibly be a sign of things to come in terms of enhanced cooperation between at least a couple split factions. The international community is also being shocked into action. Theres others but no smoking guns that will end this conflict overnight.

On a side note, I find it absolutely apalling that you keep sitting here spouting how ISIS is nothing while they continue to BRUTALLY MURDER AND DISPLACE TENS, MAYBE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF HUMAN BEINGS. The loss of life and "as brutal as you can get" tactics are at the level of humanitarian disaster and you sit here and spout the same OUT OF TOUCH drivel day in day out.

Thats why its not worth checking in here that often.
