It's reasonable to ask- "Why do it this way?... the "Average" trade categorization?".
Well, it has a dual effect when trying to hide transactions-
1. The INDIVIDUAL trade doesn't show up in normal Level 2 screens- it only shows up in the Total Volume (check your own to see), and
2. It doesn't impact the Hi/Lo of the day.
You can see if you look at today's listed Hi/Lo for RIGH, it shows .0005/.0006.
But WE KNOW the low was actually .0004, and in fact the bulk of the volume was in that range.
But we had to search for it.
So that's why they do it this way... to hide transactions and not impact the "Hi/Low" daily price.
